XPeng
XPeng Iron
Iron is China's answer to Optimus: a carmaker (XPeng) building a humanoid with its own AI and its own chips. Its gait is so natural that in 2025 they had to cut one open live on stage to prove it wasn't a person in a suit.
Like Optimus, you can't buy it today: mass production planned for late 2026, first deployments in XPeng's own showrooms in 2027, and homes no earlier than 2028. The $150,000 price circulating online is not official. One to watch, not to buy.
