Humanoid robots you can ACTUALLY buy in 2026 (and the ones you can't)

If you've watched videos of robots folding shirts and wonder which ones you can really buy, here's the short answer: in 2026 you can buy a complete humanoid from $4,290 — but none will do your chores. What's on sale are platforms: for research, learning, content creation and software development.

The ones on sale today

Unitree dominates the list: the R1 (from $4,290) is the entry ticket; the G1 (from $13,500) is the industry standard, and the H2 ($29,900) puts adult size within an individual's reach. Booster K1 (from $5,999) is the rugged alternative for classrooms and competition, and above them sit AgiBot X2 and EngineAI T800 in the $24,000–25,000 bracket. All can be ordered online and shipped home, though support outside China still limps.

The special case: 1X NEO

NEO is the only humanoid openly sold for the home: $20,000 or $499/month. But today the complex chores are performed by a remote human teleoperator, and deliveries stretch into 2027. Reserving costs a refundable $200; knowing what you're buying costs nothing.

The ones you CANNOT buy (even if it looks like it)

Tesla Optimus, Figure 03, XPeng Iron and Boston Dynamics' Atlas are not for sale: no price, no button, no date. Any site 'selling' them to you is lying. That's exactly why our scores weigh real availability.

Our recommendation

To start: Unitree R1. For serious work: G1. For full-size presence: H2. To wait for the home-robot future while risking only $200: a NEO reservation. Compare the first three in our comparison tool before deciding.
